UK Qualifications Framework

The framework is consistent across the UK but may have additional levels if it looks at qualifications in different regions at schools.

Qualifications

All our qualifications are regulated University degrees or OFQUAL recognised qualifications that reliably indicate the knowledge, skills and understanding students have demonstrated. ​

University and OFQUAL qualifications (England & Wales Levels Framework)

Undergraduate

  • OFQUAL Level 3 equivalent to a University Pre Degree qualifications

  • OFQUAL Level 4 equivalent to a University Year 1 of Bachelor’s Degree

  • OFQUAL Level 5 equivalent to a University Year 2 of Bachelor’s Degree

  • OFQUAL Level 6 equivalent to a University Year 3 of Honours Bachelor’s Degree

The portfolio of Bachelor Degree Level qualifications will be be released once the collaboration processes are finalised with a UK University.

Postgraduate Taught

  • OFQUAL Level 7 certificate equivalent to a University PostGrad Certificate

  • OFQUAL Level 7 diploma equivalent to a University PostGrad Diploma

  • OFQUAL Level 7 extended diploma equivalent to a University  Master’s Degree

The portfolio of Level 7 qualifications will be be released once the collaboration processes are finalised with a UK University.

Postgraduate Research

  • Level 7 PostGrad Certificate in Research Theory Design and Methods.

  • Level 7 PostGrad Diploma in Research Project Management including Project Timeline, Project Scope, Planning for Data Collection and Data Analysis.

  • Level 7 Master’s Degree (Extended Diploma) in Research Enquiry Project including Research Pilot Study – Data Collection and Analysis, Study – Findings, Conclusions and Recommendations.

Postgraduate Research

  • Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)

  • Doctor of Business Administration (DBA)

  • Doctor of Education (EdD)

  • Master of Research (MRes)
